Do the Detail K2 Customer Mounting Brackets for Snowplow Bolt on to a 2006 Jeep Commander Frame

Hello, I have been looking at the Detail K2 storm II plow with custom mount for my 2006 Jeep Commander base 4x4 4.7V8 Can you tell me if the mount physically bolts to the frame? From the installation diagrams I have found online, it doesnt look like it does. Thanks for your help.

The Custom Mounting Brackets # K284104 are a little different than the majority of the other mounting brackets that Detail K2 offers. This kit actually wedges between parts of the frame on your 2006 Jeep Commander. Once the mounting brackets are in place then you can install the Detail K2 Storm II Snowplow # K2STOR8422.

I have attached a photo from the instructions showing how it installs.

To install the Detail K2 Storm II Snowplow - 84" #K2STOR8422 on your 2002 Ford F-150 you have to use the mount kit part #K281511 which is a confirmed custom fit for your truck and designed to be used with this plow.

I checked with Detail K2 and they told me that as long as your truck does not have a lift kit on it the bracket kit part #K285120 will put the brackets at the correct height to use the Detail K2 Storm II Snowplow #K2SUMM8826 that you also referenced.…

We have front suspension enhancement that fits your 2000 Ford F-150, but we do not have anything from SumoSprings. The only option we have is the Timbren kit part #TFF150972 which will fit and work well.
