Furrion Camera System for Pre-Wired RV
Published 11/09/2018 >
Question:
I recently purchased a 9inch monitor from Tadi Brothers and one of their cameras. I love the monitor but have had bad luck getting the camera to work properly. Im in the process of buying a new RV which has a mount for the Furrion camera. The one they want to sell me is the Furrion Model FOS43TASF but it comes with a small 4.3 monitor which I dont want. Question - do you sell this camera without the monitor? If you do, will it work with my other monitor or does it have to be hooked to the Furrion monior ?

Expert Reply:
The Furrion RV Observation Camera System # FOS43TASF that you referenced is indeed the correct system for the pre-wired bracket on your new RV. The camera from this system is available by itself with part # FCN48TASF, however it likely will not work with your existing Tadibrothers monitor.
All of the RV cameras we have available are specifically designed to work with their own monitors. Because of this your best option will be to go with the complete Furrion System # FOS43TASF for your new RV. The 4-5/16 inch full-color LCD monitor that is included is an excellent monitor that features adjustable brightness, color, contrast, and image orientation. There will not be any drop-off from the Tadibrothers monitor you have been using.
