Question:

Can I get a gooseneck adapter for my 5th wheel and tow it safely in my 1995 ford f150 short bed regular cab?

The issue you are going to run into when towing a 5th wheel trailer with a short bed truck regardless of whether or not you are using a gooseneck adapter is cab clearance. In order to execute a full 90 degree turn you will need to have a certain amount of clearance between the cab of your truck and the loft of the trailer which is simply not sufficient when using a short bed truck without a sliding 5th wheel hitch or rotating pin box in certain cases.

In order to recommend the correct sliding 5th wheel hitch I would need to know what gooseneck hitch you have in the bed of your truck now, both the make and model. For example, if you have the Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch part # C60723 then you can use the Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter part # C16210 to install a sliding 5th wheel hitch like the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # 16516.

If they do not make an adapter for your gooseneck hitch then the only option you have is to remove the gooseneck hitch and install a sliding 5th wheel hitch such as the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # 16516 with the Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails with Installation Kit part # C16100.
