Question:

My Eagle Cap 1200 by adventurer comes with fold down/up 4 steps However because the camper floor is up inside the bed of the camper, the last step is too high off the ground. My system folds up and into an open on the side of the camper. Does yours accommodate that?

Yes, since the mounting bracket for the TorkLift GlowStep Camper Scissor Steps # TLA7805 can be mounted under your door this will reduce the distance for that last step into your camper.

I went out to the warehouse and found that the mounting bracket for the steps measures 1" tall and 20" long. Just be sure that this can fit under your door and that there is a solid place for the screws to install into for a secure connection (see attached installation instructions).

Please note that these steps do not permanently install unless you use the Mounting Bracket # TLA7820 which would mean that your steps would be sticking out on the side of your camper. I don't recommend doing this but if you don't have room in your pickup or the camper you may be able to store them where your current steps are installed.

There are also a variety of accessories that you can use with these steps including the Landing Gear # TLA8000, Pin Lock # TLA7509, and Handrail # TLA7621.
