Replacement Screw for Bulldog 12K Jack with 1 Inch Diameter Rod

Question:
I was told not by you that I needed BD500293 screw and nut kit - which I ordered. This is for a 12000 lb jack the New part has an 1 1/4inch dia screw the old one is 1 so now I need to change gears too???? Not sure of best course of action - should I Return part #BD500293 and The Re-order Part #s BD500212 and BD500217 ??? HELP

It doesn't sound like you have a 12K Bulldog Trailer Jack as they all used a 1-1/4" diameter threaded rod both pre-2003 and post-2003. Please keep in mind that the rod is measured by the threaded portion. If you can confirm the threaded rod is measured correctly then you would need to look for other identifying marks on the jack. If none are present then the only option I have for you is a full replacement like the Bulldog Square Jack part # BD182701 which has a 12,500 lb capacity and offers 12-1/2" of lift.
Unfortunately, using the Replacement Gear Kit part # BD500212 will not allow you to switch to a 1-1/4" threaded rod.
