Can Curt Adjustable Hitch # 13703 Fit C-Channel Frame that is 72 inches Apart
Published 10/17/2018 >
Question:
Im looking at your C13703 hitch receiver. My frame is exactly 72 inches wide from outside to outside. Based on your pics and installation guide i would need to rotate each end in order to mount to my frame. My frames c channel faces outward. Not sure i would be able to to bolt the ends on if i have to turn them around. Any suggestions? Something Im missing? Will need soon vacation around the corner.

You'd want to have the C-channel of your frame boxed where you attach the Curt hitch part # 13703. This will be the only way the hitch will fit the frame and attach securely. You'll need to have a welder weld in a section of metal on the C-channel where you want to install the hitch so that you'd basically be installing it like the trailer had a boxed frame instead.
