Frame Brackets to Install Base Rails for Older Demco Hijacker 5th Wheel Hitch on 2018 GMC Sierra

Question:
We took our FWH24PA Hijacker Ultra Slide 5th Wheel Hitch out of our 2008 Tundra, and want to put it in our new 2018 GMC 3500 Sierra Diesel. We kept the across bed rails, bolts, etc., that were installed in the Tundra. Question: Is it possible to get just the GMC compatible brackets and related install hardware, and will that work with our across bed rails that came with the hitch and were used in the Tundra? One more question: Do you know if our 16K double pivot slider hitch FWH24PA will work with a Rota-Flex Suspension Pin Box, which is on the 5th Wheel we are contemplating. Thanks!

Helpful Expert Reply:
Your Demco Hijacker model FWH24PA Ultra Slide Hitch is an older model that uses unique base rails (part # DM6014) that are specific to the hitch. In order to move those rails over from your Tundra to your new 2018 GMC 3500 you just need the Demco Custom Mounting Brackets # DM8552011. These brackets are custom-fit for your Sierra and will use existing holes in its frame so you don't have to drill into it during the installation process.
Your existing Hijacker hitch is indeed compatible with the Rota-Flex Pin Boxes.
