Brake Controller Install Harness Recommendation for 2018 Jeep Wrangler

Question:
I am going to install a brake controller in my 2018 Jeep Wrangle unlimited JL with the factory tow/haul. I just need the end that connects into my vehicles harness. I can remove the other end that is specific to curt controller. Will this fit my Jeep? I looked in Curt’s online site and it said that it would fit. Do you recommend this or do you have another suggestion? Thanks.
