How to Determine if Lead Landing Gear Leg Will Fit 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

I need to replace the lead leg of my landing gear for fifth wheel. The inner tube bent on the motor driven side and it now binds , still able to use but frustrating to pull in and out. Will this leg fit on my 2011 Dutchman Voltage 3950? Motor and follow leg all work great i just need the lead leg landing gear. Thank you for your time.

I can tell you how to find out if the Lippert Components 32" Lead 5th Wheel RV Landing Gear Drop Leg # LC179013 will fit your 2011 Dutchmen but trailer manufacturers don't keep specific parts lists that we would be able to cross-reference in any way.

What you will need to do is measure your current landing gear leg and if they match the Lippert # LC179013 it will work!

I added a photo for you to reference which shows each of the dimensions of this leg; it has an outer tube which is 29-1/2 inches and is 17-1/2 inches from outside to outside of its weld stops.
