Hello, neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look together at this replacement key for your Thule racks and Thule carriers. Now this particular key is part number THKEYN2874. Now this will replace one missing Thule key, and folks always tell us, "Hey, Steve, how do we know which key number we need You know, I lost my keys. I don't know how to find, what do I need" Well, it's pretty simple. If you go to your lock core where you put the key in, right next to where you insert your key by that slot, on the front face of that lock core should be a number that's engraved.

Just write down that number. Go to our website, look up that part number, and you should find that key. That being said, this guy is key 2874. Again, you can see the engraving up here above my sticker. 2874.

After a year still working great

When we borrowed our friends thule, days before a trip, it was almost instant panic when we realized the key had been misplaced. We immediately ordered this key and I have to tell you, what a fabulous key. Key came packaged very well as to ensure it was not damaged. After a year in service, I have to say, it is operating as brand new. I have no doubt it will continue to function until the day we inevitably lose it at which point we will not hesitate to reach out to etrailer for a replacement. I was very disappointed when I went to use my car top carrier and couldn't the key. I put in the manufacturer for a google search for keys and was connected with etrailer. I lost my keys for the Explorer Sport Rack cargo box I bought over ten years ago and used only once. How lucky was I to find your web site, presented me with when I entered the name of the box. I have the Sears X Cargo rooftop carrier...Have trip planned tommorrow . Didn't realize I had lost keys to carrier til 2 days ago...Well a quick Google search brought me to this website ..Etrailer.com..
