The 2018 Ram 3500 with Cummins Diesel is dependent on the axle ratio, the cab, and the box length. I've attached the chart to assist with each of these. The number in the parenthesis for each of them is the 5th wheel towing capacity and the other number is for the trailer hitch receiver below the bumper. If you are looking for a trailer hitch receiver, I have linked the page to your options to assist.
Assuming you are looking for 5th wheel components, if you have the factory tow package, I recommend the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 25,000 lbs # BWRVK3600 which is the highest capacity hitch we carry. It is made in the USA and easy to install in your factory pucks.
If you have the factory prep short bed, then I recommend the Demco Hijacker autoslide that has a 21K capacity and will automatically move to give you the turning clearance needed. For this you will want rail adapter # DM6099 and hitch # DM8550035.
If you don't have the factory pucks, then I recommend the Demco # DM8550037 slider with underbed rail kit # DM8551006 for a short bed. For a long bed, I recommend the Curt A25 # C16180 with base rail kit # C16430-204.
