Yes, the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider part # DM8550034 does indeed come with the side plates that are shown in the attached images. These side plates are used to install the hitch on a set of above bed industry standard rails like the Demco Hijacker Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails and Custom Installation Kit part # DM8552028-71 which are a confirmed fit for your 2018 Ford F-150.
