for Bikes and ski transport which do you recommend. prefer Curt products, used on my previous MDX from 2007.

This hitch is a custom fit that installs using pre drilled holes in the frame rail. It will be perfect for your bikes and ski rack. I have attached an install video for you as well.

If you are looking for a bike rack and ski carrier combo then you might be interested in Thule Hitching Post Pro part # TH934XTR with the Thule Tram Ski and Snowboard Carrier part # TH9033. The bike rack will allow you to carry up to four bikes and the ski adapter will allow you to carry up to 4 pairs of skis.
