Question:
What is the diameter of the part of the hub Item # AKIHUB-545-2-G-2K that fits into the center hole of a wheel? I want to be sure my wheel will fit. Thanks. Since you dont provide this dimension, Im guessing its so standardized that most wheels will fit most hubs, but Id like to be sure.

I went out to our warehouse and measured an outer bore diameter of 2-1/4 inches on the etrailer.com Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-545-2-G-2K that you referenced. The reason we don't typically list this dimension on our trailer hubs is because a vast majority of trailer wheels are lug centric and not hub centric, which just means that the wheels are secured by the lugs instead of centered on the hub. Because of this the only thing you need to make sure of is that your wheels have a pilot hole that is larger than the hub bore on your trailer hubs so that it fits over them. They do not need to be the same size.
This particular hub assembly is designed for 2,000 pound axles, uses the # L44649 inner and outer bearing, and has a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. I have attached an installation video that you might also find helpful.
