If your 2016 Nissan Titan XD is equipped with the factory integrated gooseneck I recommend the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550034 along with the Rail Adapter # DM6200. This is an excellent hitch that will slide automatically as you drive to give you an additional 14 inches of clearance for making tight turns with your short bed Titan. It features a wraparound single-piece jaw for a secure connection with the trailer and it has an 18,000 pound towing capacity which is more than enough for your Forest River Sabre. The Rail Adapter will mount directly to the OEM gooseneck puck in the truck bed to provide bed rails for the hitch.

If you don't have the factory integrated gooseneck on your truck then I instead recommend the B&W Companion # BWRVK3400-5W along with the Installation Rail Kit # BWGNRK1217-5W (which also serves as a gooseneck hitch). This is a really nice sliding hitch that has 1 inch thick dual jaws and a towing capacity of 20,00 pounds. It will provide you with 12 inches of front to back travel for making tight turns.

I also recommend adding a 5th Wheel Wiring Harness like the Demco # DM8555002. This will provide you with a 7-Way in the bed of your truck for easy hookup with the trailer.
