Class II 1-1/4 Inch Trailer Hitch for a 2014 Nissan Rogue and Saris Freedom Bike Rack

Question:

I see that the Draw-Tite 1 1/4inch hitch 36542 is confirmed as a fit for a 2011 Nissan Rogue for use with the Saris Freedom 2-bike rack SA4412B. I saw this in a QandA on your website. Would that hitch also work for a 2014 Nissan Rogue for use with the same bike rack? I am concerned about clearance between the car and the bike rack.

Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 36542 does indeed fit your 2014 Nissan Rogue. The receiver tube on this hitch actually extends out pretty far so clearance is less of an issue for accessories than it could be.

The Saris Freedom bike rack # SA4412B measures 12 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest wheel tray. That is a good amount of extension from the hitch so interference would not be a concern! I have linked a video review of this rack for you.
