Troubleshooting Furrion Backup Camera and Monitor Connection and Pairing

Question:

Is the FOD43TA-BL the newer version for Observation or is it the weaker CPU model? Any suggestions on the Pairing issue? It worked fine the first year, second year started having interference and now wont even Pair up. I cannot figure out if it is a problem with Camera, Monitor or if I need to junk both and buy all new.

The Furrion FOD43TA-BL is the older model. Then came the Furrion Digital Wireless Observation System w/ Color LCD Monitor - 4.3" Screen FOS48TA-BL and the current model is # FOS43TASF.

It sounds like there may be an issue with the transmitter and receiver, so I recommend putting the monitor close to the back of your trailer to test pairing and see if it will work even with a short distance. Then gradually move the monitor to see if there is interference or loss of connection. Sometimes having other wireless units will cause issues with pairing or connection. If the unit pairs and works with the distances, then you will want to see if changing anything inside the trailer impacts that signal.

If it won't pair even at a close distance or if you lose signal quickly I recommend replacing the unit.
