Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at a replacement leaf spring for your Roadmaster 8K Suspension Systems. Now, folks, this is a direct replacement. It is considered a 1 3/4 inch wide leaf spring for the Roadmaster 8K Suspension Systems. And this is compatible with the Roadmaster kit 2582, kit number 2500-80, and kit number 2503-80. And it's rated for 4,000 pounds capacity, which is what it's got right here on the spring surface itself.
And also, it's got that 1.75 or 1 3/4 inch by 26 1/2 inches. So basically, you wanna match this up with the kit you have and whatever you're replacing. And as always, you can reach out to us here at etrailer if you have any questions about this or any of the products. And if you count them, it is considered a six-stack spring, so 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 different leaves here on the stack. And they've been crimped together, which is just your standard crimping procedure, and that holds everything in place.
And then, obviously, you got your bushing pre-pressed in the spring right here, along with the hook on this end. Now, this will restore proper ride height and stability. And we recommend changing out both springs at the same time. If one's worn out or even if one broke, just so you have two at the same, you know, spring retention, if you will, starting off together. So that's my recommendation.
I'm Steven with etrailer. Thanks for watching.
