A 5th Wheel camper has a king pin weight that is normally 15-25% of the trailer weight. In your case with a camper that weighs 11,900 lbs, I'd use the 25% number to get a vertical weight of 2,975 lbs.
For a gooseneck truck to 5th wheel pin box adapter, I recommend the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter - 12" to 16" Tall - 20,000 lbs # CAB-C5G which has a pin weight capacity (vertical load) of 4,000 lbs. If you need an off-set adapter for a short bed truck, then I recommend # CAB-C5GX1216. I've attached some videos to assist.
