Capture Plate for Demco Hijacker and MOR/ryde Cushioned Pin Box

I have a 5th wheel with a Mor-Ryde cushioned pin box. Why is the capture plate still required if the Hijacker has the slide bars on the hitch head that adjust to the side of the pin box and force it to turn with the RV?

Expert Reply:
The Demco Hijacker Autoslide Locking Plate for MOR/ryde Pin Boxes # DM6025 is required with the use of an Autoslide such as # DM8550034 because the capture plate that come with the hitch will not adequately adjust to the MOR/Ryde and will not force it to turn with the RV.
Without this locking plate the king pin will pivot inside your Demco Autoslide.
