No, the slider on the B&W Companion Slider Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # BWRVK3400 does not need to be lubed. The saddle, jaws, polyurethane bushings, and coupler surface are the only components that need to be lubed according to the owner's manual. I have attached a photo of this for you as well. In order to lubricate the above components I recommend White Lithium Grease part # L11354.
