Question:

Hello, I will be replacing the oem bumper with a steel aftermarket bumper. I will need baseplate to tow behind rv. How do I know if this baseplate will fit with the aftermarket bumper? Also, will this baseplate work with blackhawk towbar?

Demco base plates # DM9519339 will fit the factory Steel Bumper Package for the 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler Unlimited but anything else is not a confirmed fit. The base plates are also not a direct fit for the Blackhawk tow bar # RM-422. You would need adapter # RM-034.

If the bumper you are getting has D-Rings welded to it then there are adapters that could work with it and the Blackhawk tow bar. If each of the D-ring tabs (2 for each D-ring) are 3/4 inch thick and the hole diameter is 7/8 inch or 1 inch you can use adapter # RM-035. If the tabs are each 1 inch thick use # RM-035-1.

Also you would need to make sure that the bumper is rated for flat towing.
