What Kind of Lubricant Should be Used on the Seals in Camco Rhinoflex Sewer Hose Fittings

Question:
I have been having issues with my swivel fittings on my Camco Rhinoflex RV sewer pipes. They are not forming a seal like they used to, so I plan on taking out the gaskets, unscrewing the fittings off the hose and trimming things up to ensure a good connection and fit. My concern is that all the fittings have a thick coating of grease. I want to wash this off and apply a nice fresh layer again, but I want to make sure it is the right kind of grease. Is it just petroleum jelly? Or does it need to be a silicone based grease? I dont want to ruin my seals... Thanks!

You will want to use a silicone lubricant such as # RM-747 or similar if you have some laying around for the seals in your Camco Rhinoflex RV sewer pipes such as # CAM39861.
