Question:

i have a 2003 ram 1500 6.5 bed and a reese hitch in my vehicle now Rail system..i am trading for a 2014 ram 1500 short bed 4wd also a 6.5 in bed..will the reese bed rail be the same rail for the 2014? and also what brackets and hardware kit do i need to install in the 2014?. the 2014 has factory 7 way at rear bumper..i will also need the t wiring harness that comes from rear bumper to inside of the bed and with plactic receiver end?

The actual above the bed rails will be the same between the 2003 Ram 1500 and the 2014 Ram 1500 but you will need new frame brackets and hardware. The bracket kit is # RP50142 which comes with most of the hardware you will need for installation with the exception of u-shaped spacer blocks. Those blocks you can get with kit # RP58430.

To add a 7-Way in the bed that tees in with the 7-Way at the rear you can use # 50-97-410. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.
