Hello, My legacy wagons tow hooks looked different from the installation video. Do I still install it the same way? Thanks

Yes, even if the tow hooks on your 1999 Subaru Legacy do not look the same as the ones in the install video you will still install Curt hitch # C12270 in the same way. No matter what your tow hooks look like, according to the directions when raising the hitch into position the driver side plate will be to the outside of the tow loop and the passenger side plate will be to the inside of the tow loop.
Please note that with this hitch, all non-trailer loads such as bike racks and cargo carriers need to be supported with Stabilizing Straps # 18050 to maintain the warranty.
