For Your 2011 Ford F-150, without factory trailer connector, the 7-Way RV wiring colors will be as follows.
Green = Right Turn/Stop
Yellow = Left Turn/Stop
Brown = Taillight
White = Ground
Black = 12 Volt Power
Blue = Electric Brake Output
Purple = Reverse Light Circuit or Auxiliary Power
We have an article that details trailer connector wire colors for you to review, see link.
If your truck has the tow package installed, and no 4-Way connector attached, you can use the Custom Fit Wiring, # C56110, along with the brake controller installation kit, # ETBC7, to complete a 7-Way installation on your 2011 F-150, see directions link. If there is no mating connector for the custom wiring, you will need to use the 4-Pole hard wire kit, # 18252, and locate the correct circuits behind the vehicle taillights for installation of the 4-Way and then use the brake controller installation kit to complete the installation.
