Question:
Hi I have a 1998 Jayco Eagle 32’ motorhome. The taillights are not very bright I have checked and cleaned the grounds. I was wondering what bargman taillight assembly I need to convert to LED. And if there is a relay or flasher I would need to replace as well. It is a Ford E450 cab and chassis.

In order to convert the incandescent tail lights on your 1998 Jayco Eagle Motorhome to LED tail lights you have a few options. You can either replace the incandescent bulbs with LED bulbs that are the same color as the housing you will be installing them in or your can swap out the entire housing. The problem you are going to run into when swapping out the entire housing is finding an exact replacement.
If you can send me a photo with dimensions of the tail light housing you have on your motorhome now then I would be glad to see if we have any replacements that would work for you. I have attached a list of our LED replacement housings for you as well if you would like to try and match them up yourself.
The other option as previously mentioned would be to just replace the incandescent tail light bulbs with LED tail light bulbs that are the same color as the housing you will be installing them. In order to do this we would need to know what bulb type you currently have. If you pop off the tail light lens cover then you can pull out the light bulb and there should be a number on the base which we would then need to find a replacement LED option. I have also attached a list of our LED light bulbs for you to choose from once you find out which bulbs you have now.
The other thing you will need to do when changing to LED lights is install a resistor like part # DI34ZR on the turn signal circuits or use an adapter with one integrated like # 20142 which has the integrated resistor. There will be no other flashers or relays needed.
