Question:

I have a 2003 Rockwood Freedom 1940 LTD. 04 Jeep Liberty has a Uhaul installed 4 to 7 blade type plug, wired for brakes and battery charge neither working yet Trailer 7 wire plug goes to 6 pole plug with 7 wires coming out. Ive been having problems with lights not working properly. I installed new plug kit and regrounded to frame. Still have problems. I think a new wire harness and light kit would be th he best and easiest way to go. Do you have a EASY to install kit? BTW pup has 10 or 11 marker lights. Thanks for your help.

Since your 2004 Jeep Liberty does not seem to have the factory 7-way, the easiest to install 4-way that fits your Jeep is the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 42475. You'll only need to plug this into your Jeep's harness, and getting to that is likely going to be the most difficult part as you'll have to remove some interior paneling to find it.

Then for lights, I recommend going with LED marker lights. Ten marker lights is quite a bit so the issue you are having may be due to overloading your current harness. The lights you need for your Rockwood Freedom should be the same size; for example, the Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light # MCL32RBB is 4" long x 2" tall x 1" deep, is a red surface mount and has a 2-wire pigtail.
