Question:

Scissor stabilizer jack maintenance Have a 2018 Keystone Bullet Crossfire 1900 RD TT. Has stabilizer jacks on all 4 corners. Live in Florida, so very humid climate. Have some corrosion on jacks already, after few months. What protection/ lubrication would you recommend? Want to protect this for the long term life of our RV. Thanks for your assistance. Have been very pleased with your companys help in the past. Purchased a Reese steady flex weight distribution system for my Toyota Tacoma from your company.

Thanks for your business. For your stabilizer jacks, I simply recommend using LubriMatic White Lithium Grease cartridge # L11354. This will keep the threaded rod and the pivots properly lubricated and keep them from corrosion. The rest of the jack should be powder coated to keep it from corrosion unless damaged.
