Can 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Sunroof be Opened with Roof Rack Installed

Question:
I noticed that someone asked about opening the sunroof with this system. The rep mentioned that you cannot. Is this true? It looks like there is plenty of clearance for the roof to open. Ive never seen a rack prevent the sunroof from opening. Thanks

Moon roofs that open into a cavity in the roof would not be a problem with a roof rack such as # RRRVP27 for the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. But anything that opens upward can potentially make contact with the roof rack itself or something being carried on the rack. Also, no matter how aerodynamic the crossbars are they are going to be noisy if you have the sun roof open.
