An ST145/80-12 sized trailer tire, like part # AM10140, is designed to fit a 4 inch wide rim. As long as the wheels you're currently using your 155/80R12 size passenger tires on is 4 inches wide then you can use the same rims on your trailer.
Measure the width of the rim from bead seat to bead seat where the tire sits on the rim. I've linked a video of a wheel and if you skip ahead to the 1:00 minute mark to see the width being measured.
If it's 4 inches then you're good to go because the trailer tire is a little smaller so there won't be any issues with clearance. However, if your current wheels are wider then you need new rims with the new trailer tires like part # AM35351DX.
