Question:
I have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler that has an aftermarket rear bumper/tire carrier. Im planning to get a hitch extension/ Item # RM-058-4 so that I can install a hitch mounted bike rack and have it clear my tire. What locking hitch pin do you recommend that will prevent rattle between my vehicle and the extension. The bike rack already has an anti-rattle mechanism.

Expert Reply:
Since your 2012 Jeep Wrangler would have a 2 inch hitch the adapter you'd want is the Roadmaster part # RM-070 instead as the one you mentioned is for a 2-1/2 inch trailer hitch.
Then for a locking anti-rattle device we have the Anti-Rattle Device part # 63232 which would work well. It's a lock that holds the shank of the adapter tight to the hitch tube to prevent movement.
