I will be happy to get you the tires and wheels to replace the ones on your Gulf Stream Seahawk 5th wheel trailer. The Provider ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 16" Silver Mod Wheel # TA39VR will fit on a 16" wheel and very similar to the tire you have now. The maximum load of the tires is 3,520 lbs at 80 psi. The bolt pattern is 6 on 5-1/2. The section width is 9.25" and the outer diameter is 30.79".

The 225-75-16 tires may be a passenger vehicle tire which is not made for trailers. We recommended that only trailer tires be used on trailers because they have stiffer sidewalls which do a better job dealing with the vertical load tires experience when installed on a trailer. Also, trailers don't have steering axles, which means the cornering forces trailer tires experience are different than those passenger car tires would.

The larger tire size you want to go with will increase your overall tire diameter by 1-1/2 inches. That means that you would have 3/4 of an inch less trailer fender clearance. You would need to check out the trailer to determine if you have the clearance for it.

If you don't have enough clearance to fit # AC16R6SM then you can also try Karrier ST225/75R15 Radial Tire 15" # AM32680. This wheel has a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern. The maximum load capacity is 2,830 lbs at 80 psi. The section width is 8.9" and outer diameter (when inflated) is 28.4".
