Reese Sidewinder and Revolution pivoting pin boxes such as # RP34FR do benefit from routine maintenance including lubrication. This is noted in the linked article and in the linked instructions for Sidewinder model # RP34FR. Please refer to page 8 of the instructions; figure 16 shows where to apply white lithium grease like # L11354.
