Question:

I have a 1999 Ranger Comanche 518 DVX, and the Ranger Trail surge disc brakes need work possibly replacement. What brake package will work with this trailer?

We can help you with either new disc brakes or with replacement parts for your existing disc brake setup on your Ranger boat trailer. Either way you will want to confirm the axle rating of the single or tandem axles on the trailer since complete brakes and some brake parts are specific to a particular axle weight rating.

The trailer's main sticker may have axle ratings indicated or sometimes on the axle beam itself there will be a plate or sticker with its specific weight capacity. If you have trouble confirming the axle rating you can contact the trailer maker with the trailer VIN.
