I am looking for a installation kit for A 2015 chevy 1/2 ton was wondering if #rp50026 was the right part #

The fifth wheel install bracket kit # RP50026 fits specific Ford trucks so it's not the correct kit for your 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500.

Instead you need part # RP50064 to fit your truck. If you also need the base rails part # RP50064-58 is the complete kit. I've linked a video of the install on a 2016 Silverado.

If you already have Reese base rails you're going to use you should replace the hardware. Use hardware kit # RP58430.

If you'd also like to add a trailer connector in your truck's ged I recommend the Hopkins, part # 41157. This install video is also attached for you.
