Helpful Expert Reply:
When hardwiring a 7-Way to your 2005 Chevrolet Silverado, like part # PK12-707E, you will want to connect the following functions to the following pin locations:
1 o'clock - 12V Power
3 o'clock - Right Turn/Stop
5 o'clock - Brake Controller Output
7 o'clock - Ground
9 o'clock - Left Turn/Stop
11 o'clock - Tail and Running Lights
Center - Reverse Lights
I have attached a diagram showing these functions as well. Please note that the colors in the diagram are typical wire colors for those functions but that does not mean those are the colors of the wires for your Silverado. If you are unsure what any functions are you can use a circuit tester like part # 3808 to help you with the installation.

05 Silvado, multimeter leads: black to ground, red to 11:00 (running lights). I have no voltage at that pin only with light switch in the on position. Truck lights work. Cannot find a fuse for just trailer running/marker lights. Any help greatly appreciated
