Dimensions Of Bracket Offset Of Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver

Question:

It appears in the photos that the cross tube brackets have an offset. What is that measurement as I need to clear my stabilizer jacks on rear of fifth wheel?

Expert Reply:

I spoke to my contact at Curt, he confirmed with me that the width of the offset of the mounting bracket is 2-1/4 inches. He also said that if you don't use all 6 of the mounting holes you would not get the full capacity of the hitch.and he informed me that the length from the opening of the hitch # 13703 to the cross tube is 8-3/16 inches.
