Question:
For the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4inch - C11064, a comment by Justin P - 04/11/2014 says Ive attached a bunch of additional photos. Basically, theres a section back in the bumper that has plenty of space to fish the bolt and flange through without cutting a large hole in the frame. All you have to cut is a circular hole big enough for the bolt itself not the head.inch Is this true for the 2011 Fit Sport. Sure would make installation easier to not have to drill that large hole.

For the Curt Class I Trailer Hitch # C11064, the installation on your 2011 Honda Fit Sport should be identical to what you see from customer Justin P. We have not done an installation in that manner, but in theory your vehicle will be no different.
If you will be using this hitch for lighted accessories, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56011. This harness installs behind the trim panels on each side in your cargo area to the factory wiring connectors.
If you will be doing light towing, I recommend the Curt ball mount # C45521 along with the hitch ball # A-82 for a 2 inch ball or # A-80 for a 1-7/8 inch ball. Pin and clip # F-4 will also be required.
If you are using this hitch for a bike carrier or other accessory, support strap # 18050 is required by Curt's warranty.
