Question:
I have a 2004 Toyota Tacoma and I bought a Curt 55379 T- harness to install. My trucks tail light bulbs and turn signal bulbs have been replaced with LED bulbs. However my trailer lights are all conventional 12v bulbs. Is this trailer harness compatible with a vehicle that has been fitted with LED bulbs?

Expert Reply:
Yes. The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C55379 for your 2004 Toyota Tacoma will work fine with your replacement LED bulbs on your truck and the 12V incandescent bulbs on your trailer. Because you have used the conversion LED bulbs, the power getting to the harness has not changed and will not impact the function of the trailer wiring harness.
