Which Towing Mirrors Will Fit a 1997 Ford F-350 Heavy Duty with Old Style Mirrors

Question:

Will Not Fit E-Series, Clubwagon, Econoline, Windstar Vans, Ranger with Black Sport Mirrors or 97 F-250 and F-350 Heavy Duty with Old Body Style black mirror with chrome back I have a 1997 F350 with the old style mirrors listed above. Models 11501 and 502 state that they wont fit this style mirror. What model number will fit this style mirror? Thanks.

You are correct, the custom towing mirrors for Ford trucks are hard to figure out. I put together a set of photos that show the 3 different styles of mirrors our custom towing mirrors will fit, and listed the part number you should use for each of those mirrors just below the photo, see link. I also provided a link to each of those parts for you.

If the mirrors on your 1997 F-350 are different than these 3 mirrors you will need to use a set of Universal towing mirrors, see link. I have tried several styles of universal towing mirrors on my truck and the one that actually works the best in my opinion is the CIPA Deluxe Door Mount Mirror, # 11650. The mirrors do not shake nearly as bad as other universal style towing mirrors and the glass is large enough to provide a good view when backing.
