How to Install the Replacement 2 Hitch Adapter Part # 853-7489 on a Thule Doubletrack Bike Rack

I ordered this adapter with flathead screw 853-5787-02. I dont see how this screw is meant to attach the adapter to my Thule doubletrack rack. The small hole that I believe that flathead screw is supposed to go into to attach to the rack isnt threaded so its unclear to me how this is supposed to work. Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks

The small hole on the adapter part # 853-7489 that the screw part # 853-5787-02 goes into is not threaded. However, the hole on the stinger of your Thule Doubletrack TH990XT is threaded which you can see in the attached photo.
