Looking For An Adapter Sleeve For My Thule 990XT Bike Rack To Go From 2" To 1-1/4"

Question:

Hi I was given a 2016 thule 990ct bike rack but need a sleeve to make the 2inch go to a 1inch and all I see are 2inch to 1 1/4 HELP!

Hey Dawn,

We do have a sleeve for that bike rack to reduce down to be able to fit on your vehicle. There are 2 main standard hitch receiver sizes, 2" and 1-1/4", I am not aware of a 1" hitch out there so chances are you do need the 2" to 1-1/4" adapter. For that Thule offers the # 853-7489 that is going to work with your specific model rack!

What kind of vehicle are you wanting to install this rack on?
