How to Install the Greystone Built-in Microwave with Trim Kit Part # 324-000105

Question:

I am planning to install this microwave on my boat. The opening I have is consistent with what you show as needed to fit this item. My question is, does the item include installation instructions? Specifically, how does it bolt into the cabinet so that as the boat moves, hit waves, etc that the oven does not jar loose move around within the cabinet? Thanks.

I have emailed you a digital copy of the instructions for the Greystone Built-in Microwave with Trim Kit part # 324-000105. There are also a set of print instructions which come with the unit. As stated in the instructions, " This microwave oven must be placed on a flat, stable surface to hold its weight and the heaviest food likely to be cooked in the oven."

Therefore, to summarize the unit will need to be placed in a cabinet or on a shelf and then secured to either side using the four mounting holes located on the outside of the trim piece (see photo). This is not a freestanding unit that is designed to be installed under a cabinet or shelf.
