Installing New Fireplace In 2016 Tiffin Allegro Motorhome

Question:
Hi. I would like some information regarding installing an electric fireplace in my 2016 Tiffin Allegro Open Road motorhome. This would be new installation, and the current opening is 28”. Can you help me with this? I’m not a very “handy” guy so installation of this would need to be fairly easy. Thank you.

Hello David. Installing a new fireplace in your motorhome should be pretty straightforward. All you need to do is make sure you have an appropriately sized cutout and a power source. For a 28" wide cutout I recommend the Greystone Electric RV Fireplace with Crystals # 324-000068. This unit requires a cutout to be at least 26" wide, and it has a trim piece that covers a 28-3/8" wide x 21-3/8" tall rectangle.
