Question:
I like the class v Curt hitch but don’t like the way it hangs down below the factory hitch my question is does the curt hitch for 2016 ram 3500 without factory receiver tuck up in higher to the bumper? If I remove factory receiver “not bumper assembly “ I could get that curt hitch? Thank you

Expert Reply:
Your best option is going to be Draw-Tite hitch # DT45509. This hitch requires removal of the factory hitch on your 2016 Ram 3500. It is rated for 2,000 pounds tongue weight and 18,000 pounds gross trailer weight. When used with weight distribution it is rated for 2,500 pounds tongue weight and 18,000 pounds gross trailer weight. The available Curt hitches will all sit low whether you remove the factory hitch or not. The Draw-Tite hitch will be tucked up beneath the bumper like the factory hitch was.
