Can a Single Step be Added to a 3-Step System

Question:
Can a 4 th step be added on to my 3 step? Or do I have to buy a 4 step? Assume they both bolt on to my trailer the same way

If you already have a 3-step on then you will need to replace the entire assembly with a 4-step like the part # LC432698 that you reference. I do not know of any step systems that allow you to add or take away a step for your application.
