What is the vertical dimension of this axle from spring seat face to top of the axle tube? What is the recommended clearance between the top of the axle tube the the trailer frame?

The overall thickness of the trailer axle part # 20440I-EZ-60 including the spring seat is 2-1/4 inches. The recommended clearance with leaf spring suspension on an unloaded trailer is between 2 - 2-1/2 inches from the axle to the frame. Typical trailer leaf spring deflection is 1-1/2 inches.
