Question:
I have purchased a new trailer and am having problems deciding on a hitch. I have a 2015 GMC Canyon 7000 lb towing capacity and the new trailer dry weight is 4320 lb hitch weight is 510 lb. The max trailer weight is 5200 lbs. so the max hitch weight is probably 675 lbs. Trailer is 26 ft long. I have narrowed it down to the Fastway E2 Equalizer or Blue Ox Swaypro based on ease of installation really don’t want to drill a bunch of holes in trailer frame and ease of hookup. Leaning towards Blue Ox but does it control sway as good as the others? Thanks

For your 2015 GMC Canyon, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13203. Then for your weight distribution system to help with sag and sway, I recommend the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - Clamp On # BXW0750. This system will do a very good job of controlling sway and is a better option than the Fastway system in my opinion.
For a 2 inch diameter hitch ball I recommend # A-90. For a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball I recommend # 19286.
