Question:

I just purchased a 2018 Montana High Country 345rl. Im using the Anderson 5th wheel hitch. Pulls great behind the truck. Will the mor ryde pin box help much with chucking? I have airbags on my 2017 ram crew cab 4x4 which does help with the up and down and keeping things level. I run 30 to 40 psi in the air bags. Have plenty of pin weight. Have a washer and dryer up in the front. No water in tanks. The trailer does ride a little high in the front due to ram 2500 bed height. The chucking is the only thing I would improve on my set up. The factory pin box is about 31 1/2 inches long and clears my tailgate well. Any replacement pin box would have to clear the tailgate as well.

The MOR/ryde pin box is compatible with the Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch System Adapter part # AM3200 and will not need to be changed out. Vertical chucking would be reduced with that pin box and the Andersen Ultimate.

From previous customers we know that the Lippert 1116 is the style of pin box you have on your Montana High Country 345rl so for a cushioned pin box that we carry the Trailair Pin Box part # LC155943 would be our best option as we do not carry the Mor/Ryde.
